Why do you have less foods than other nutrition apps?

We believe in quality/accuracy over quantity, so have opted to offer a smaller database of foods that is manually checked by UK dietitians, rather than a huge database of unchecked data from unknown sources (including crowd-sourced data from the public that is unchecked by anyone). Additionally, we have high quality portion photos for most of our foods, which is only possible for a smaller database.

While other apps boast millions of foods, they very often have several entries for a particular food which can vary wildly in their nutritional values.  For example, searching for "Wagamama Yasai Yaki Soba" into one of the leading nutrition apps shows 9 results for that food, all having different values with calories ranging from 378 cals to 3790 cals per portion!  So we make sure we only show 1 entry for this, with this correct data as shown on the Wagamama website.
